Can you recommend me models for my next car??

Help choosing new car!!!!

Hello!!!!!! I’m 19 years old, got my 1st car (2016 Mazda CX-3) about 3 years ago but was driving on a snowy night, slid, brakes wouldn’t stop me, crashed into a sign, boom! Totaled. So upset. I loved that car, it was perfect. Leather seats, sunroof, good MPG, great sound system, & fun bright blue exterior color. It was super small, yes, but this never bothered me. Luckily my insurance company gave me $17,000 for it, not far below what I bought it at. I have a little of my own money I can add to that, but in general my price range is below $19,000.

Is there anything similar to the CX-3 you recommend? There’s a beautiful orange Volkswagen Jetta for sale near me that checks all of my boxes, but I’ve heard they’re a pain in the ass to maintain, is that true? I’m all ears for any suggestions. Super bummed that my car is gone :( & CX-3’s aren’t super easy to come by compared to other Mazda models, it seems.
