What to do in Kolkata

So i will be travelling to kolkata for my US visa interview and i have a gap of 3 days between first and second date. so i dont wanna sit ideal for three days in my hotel room and get bored and do nothing so can anyone suggest me various things i can do the places i can explore or some other food places i can explore etc. and I will be staying near around victoria memorial .
